Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026 · Travis Cornelius · traviscornelius.com · Simpsonville, SC
1. Agreement to these terms
By using traviscornelius.com, the client portal, or any tools provided through them (together, the “Services”), you agree to these terms. Paid engagements are additionally governed by the individual service agreement we sign together; where the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
2. The services
I provide website design and development, hosting and maintenance, search engine optimization, local business presence, analytics, advertising management, social media services, automation, and video editing. Scope and pricing for paid work are agreed at a consultation and documented before anything is billed.
3. Portal accounts
Portal accounts are invite-only. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell me immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Social posting tool
The portal includes an optional tool for connecting your business social media accounts (such as Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, YouTube channels, and Pinterest boards) to compose, schedule, and publish posts, and to view and respond to the comments and messages on those accounts.
- You may only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
- You are responsible for what you publish and send. The tool transmits your posts, replies, and messages to the platforms on your instruction; they must comply with each platform's own terms and community standards and with applicable law. Don't use it for spam, deceptive content, or anything unlawful.
- By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's data practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. Other platforms' terms (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok) apply to their accounts in the same way.
- You can disconnect any account at any time from the portal, which deletes its stored access token. Platform outages, API changes, rate limits and quotas (for example YouTube's daily upload quota), or account restrictions on the platform's side can delay or prevent publishing; scheduled posts normally publish within a few minutes of their scheduled time but exact timing isn't guaranteed.
5. Fees and payment
Setup and monthly fees are agreed at your consultation and invoiced as described in your service agreement. The social posting tool is billed monthly at its listed price. Monthly services renew automatically until cancelled.
Late or failed payments: if a payment fails, I'll notify you and retry. If payment isn't resolved within a 14-day grace period, hosted services may be temporarily paused (your website replaced with a maintenance page) until the balance is settled. Your content and data are not deleted during a pause.
6. Your content and accounts stay yours
You retain ownership of your content, your domain, your social media accounts, and your business data. Where third-party accounts are involved (Google, Meta, and similar), you grant access under your own control and can revoke it at any time. On ending an engagement, I'll cooperate in good faith to hand over or disconnect everything cleanly.
7. Disclaimers
Services are provided with professional care, but no specific business outcome - rankings, traffic, engagement, or revenue - is guaranteed. Third-party platforms and providers (hosting, social networks, search engines, payment processors) are outside my control, and the Services depend on them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service in the three months before the claim, and I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data beyond backups I reasonably maintain).
9. Termination
You can stop using the Services at any time; monthly services end at the close of the paid period. I may suspend or end access for non-payment (per section 5), for misuse of the Services, or for violations of these terms - with notice where practical.
10. Changes and governing law
I may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA.
